Our current and upcoming litters. A listing marked "available" really is today — we update these as soon as a puppy's status changes.
Puppy photos coming soon. Our litters are photographed at three weeks, once their eyes are open and their coat has settled. The placeholders below — each marked with a little rosemaling tulip — will be replaced as soon as the photo session happens.
Every other detail — sex, colour, birth date, price, vaccinations — is accurate.
We don't work on a first-come, first-served basis. After an exchange — email, phone call or a visit to the chalet — we add your family to the litter that matches your lifestyle and your climate.
Matching happens around the sixth week. We observe every puppy from birth: energy level, confidence, reaction to cold and snow. That's what determines which puppy goes to which family — never the colour picked from a photo.
A $600 deposit confirms your spot, applied to the total price. Refundable if the litter doesn't produce a puppy that suits you.
Yes, considerably. The undercoat blows out twice a year, in large tufts, and needs weekly brushing year-round — daily during shedding season. If you can't live with white fur on the furniture, this probably isn't the right breed for you, and we'd rather say so upfront.
No, and that's intentional. Matching is based on temperament observed over six weeks, never on looks. A very high-energy puppy placed in a quiet home becomes a problem within a few months. We introduce you to the puppy or puppies that suit your situation, and you decide from there.
No. Every family picks up their puppy at the chalet in L'Anse-Saint-Jean. This lets us walk you through handling one more time, hand you the full file, and see the puppy off in good conditions.
First round of vaccines, complete deworming, microchip registered in your name, a vet exam in the days before going home, a health record, a blanket carrying the litter's scent — and a small bookmark hand-painted by Ingrid with a rosemaling tulip. Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) registration papers are included.
Yes. A two-year guarantee against serious hereditary illness, provided in writing when the contract is signed. It covers replacement or refund, your choice. We also give you the screening results for both parents.
This is our biggest reservation. The Samoyed was built for extreme cold — a hot summer without air conditioning or enough shade can be hard on it. In an apartment it needs plenty of exercise and stimulation; left alone too long, it gets vocal. We ask about this honestly before any reservation.
They come back to us, at any age and without judgment. It's written into the contract. A dog we brought into the world doesn't end up in a shelter — we take them back, or find them a new home ourselves.
Join the waitlist. We notify registered families as soon as a mating is confirmed — often three months before the litter is born.
